A wedding is a passage into a whole new level of love and consciousness. It marks a step forward from one’s life into a life that develops each partner to become more than they could ever be alone.
My weddings, whether short or long, help celebrate this passage focusing on the bride and groom as individuals and a couple, providing guidance for them in the days ahead.
Being ordained a Unitarian Universalist Minister, I am respectful of spiritual and all religious traditions, and can present a wedding within whatever tradition or non-traditional perspective the couple wishes.
My ceremonies can be formal or informal – in a church, on the beach, or at our home on Lake Tarpon (for wedding parties under 30 people). There we have a dock, gazebo, and if inside, the bride can come down a spiral staircase to stereo music, and the wedding party can stand in front of the fireplace or the picture windows so close to the water it’s like being on a boat. Beautiful orchid plants are on each windowsill.
About Caroline:
I am an ordained Unitarian Universalist Minister of Education, and have been performing weddings for the past 28 years.
I directed the Religious Education Program of the UU Church of St. Petersburg for 20 years, where I was ordained, until I moved into my own private practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, which continues to this day.
Having both in-depth background in religious and spiritual faiths, as well as psychology, and family and community life, has uniquely prepared me to guide and bless couples as they enter matrimony.
I am also able to provide premarital and post marriage counseling to those who request it.
I am in a long term devoted marriage with my husband, have a married daughter with two granddaughters, 10 and 15.
Fees:
The cost for the ceremony is $125.00. (There may be an additional travel charge depending on location, and/or if it is a holiday)
A one hour pre-wedding consultation is encouraged in order to help me connect more personally with you and design the ceremony for you that expresses who you are and what you want more completely.
The charge for the consultation is $50.00.
